Of noses and snow

Today it's snowing biscuits. Too bad Graham Cracker slept through it! Oh! Looks like it's still coming down! It's supposed to get really cold later today. Maybe we'll get some more snow days...

Shem took Graham Cracker to our optometrist last week. He's really a great optometrist. Very thorough. First thing he saw were very bad cataracts which will require surgery. He's said her eye is very healthy and she'll be able to see better with the cataracts gone. She has an appointment with an eye surgeon on Friday, February 19. For someone who loves to read as much as she does, this will greatly improve her outlook. Other than that, she's doing very well.

If the doctor had been Chinese, we would have thought he was talking about her car...
