Eye don't C U

Graham Cracker's going to have the first of two cataract surgeries on Monday morning. The doctor said, "On a scale of 1 to 5, yours is about a 4.7." Evidently what she sees is what the rest of us see if we try to look through wax paper. As much as she adores reading, this has made reading difficult for her. He said he can fix it so she won't need to wear glasses anymore when she reads. The recovery is evidently pretty quick as the incision is minute and will require no sutures.

If all goes as planned, she'll have the second surgery in a couple of weeks after having the first surgery monitored by our ophthamologist.
