Of Graham Cracker and Church

Because Shem has to work all night tonight, we chose to attend the Saturday evening service at church. We asked Graham Cracker if she wanted to go. She did. The Saturday evening service is the one with guitars and drums, but same sermon as Sunday. About half the songs were hymns sung to a beat and half were upbeat current Christian music.

Graham Cracker participated in this service more than any we've been to. She sang along and paid attention to the pastor. As we munched burgers at Carl's Jr. afterward, we asked what she thought of church. Said she, "I really, really liked it."

What did you like about it?

"The music, the pastor...EVERYTHING!"

The message tonight was "You the child of the great high King. You are special." It was a very positive message.

So happy she enjoyed it. This may become our new time to go to church!
